Why Students Should Look Beyond the “South Delhi Campus” Keyword

One important point for applicants is that South Delhi and Delhi NCR are not the same geographical area. Students should check the actual campus location before applying.

Echelon Institute of Technology is in Faridabad, Haryana, and GGSIPU's current admission documents list it as an institute in the NCR outside Delhi.

This makes it particularly relevant for students who are comparing GGSIPU colleges in Delhi NCR rather than limiting their search only to colleges physically located within Delhi.

GGSIPU Admissions 2026

Students planning admission in 2026 should rely on the latest GGSIPU counselling notices, seat availability, eligibility requirements and programme-specific admission procedures.

The university's 2026 admission portal continues to publish counselling schedules, cutoff information and programme updates. Recent notices also specifically mention counselling/admission for M.Tech CSE offered by Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad.

What Should Students Check Before Choosing a College?

Before selecting a GGSIPU college, students should compare:

• Course and specialization

• Eligibility and admission route

• Current GGSIPU counselling status

• Campus location and connectivity

• Academic infrastructure

• Laboratories and practical learning

• Hostel and student facilities

• Sports and extracurricular opportunities

• Fees and other university charges

• Placement and career-support opportunities

The final decision should be based on the specific course, admission category, location preference and the latest information published for the relevant academic session.
